Garvin A. Manzano, A.C.I.I., A.R.M.
Chartered Insurance Broker
Managing Director, Maibrol Insurance Brokers Ltd.

The Maibrol team is headed by Garvin Manzano, Managing Director, who has extensive experience in the insurance industry. Garvin began his insurance career as a trainee underwriter over 30 years ago, and eventually branched off into insurance broking – a field in which he has spent the majority of his working life. In 1994, Garvin took over ownership of Maibrol from the Ansa/Mc Al Group, seizing the opportunity to grow the company into one of the leading insurance broking firms in the country.

Garvin is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of England. He also holds an Associate Degree in Risk Management from the Insurance Institute of America, making him one of the very few professionally qualified persons in the field of risk management in Trinidad and Tobago.

 

Jerome Neilson, F.F.A.
Secretary/Accountant

As Secretary/Accountant, Jerome Neilson is responsible for the accounting, financial and information systems at Maibrol Insurance Brokers Ltd. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, and brings over 28 years experience in accounting, particularly in the highly specialized field of insurance accounting, to the Maibrol team.

Prior to his appointment at Maibrol, Jerome was the Chief Accountant at TATIL, a member of the Ansa/Mc Al Group.
